Black Box, an Electronic Arts studio, announced today that a closed beta for Need for Speed World has commenced. This massively online multiplayer action racing game is the first of its kind and over the coming months thousands of players will have the opportunity to claim a spot in the PC beta by signing up at world.needforspeed.com. The beta participants will be among the first in the world to play the game as well as provide constructive feedback that will go straight to the development team to help fine tune the final product.
