News: Final Fight: Double Impact Release Date and Pricing Announced

Capcom announced the release dates and the pricing for the upcoming XBLA/PSN arcade title, Final Fight: Double Impact today.  The game will be available for download on April 14th on Xbox Live and on April 15th for the PlayStation Store for 800 MS Points/$9.99 respectively.

Final Fight: Double Impact is two games in one package so fans will get two legendary Capcom games, Final Fight and Magic Sword.  The games have improved graphic modes, fully remixed soundtracks, as well as a drop-in online co-op that will allow you to play friends and strangers online.

Final Fight and Magic Sword are classic arcade side-scrolling beat-em-ups.  In Final Fight, you follow Cody, Guy , and Haggar in Metro City who are trying to save Haggar’s daughter from the evil Mad Gear.  There are 6 stages in the game.  Both Cody and Guy will be playable characters in Super Street Fighter IV so this is a great chance to get to know these characters in their first appearances.  You can read the MWVG preview of Super Street Fighter IV here.

You take on the role of “The Brave One” in Magic Sword to face the dark lord Drokmar for more side-scrolling action.
