On June 1st, EA announced that two Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows videogames were in development that will coincide with the dual release of the final Harry Potter films, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Part 2. The HP&DH Part 1 is set for an autumn release.
The game will be a departure from its predecessors as the characters are on the run with enemies on the tails and find themselves in unfamiliar territory. On a quest to locate and destroy Voldemort’s Horcruxes, players will fight against creatures from the previous films as well as new ones from the seventh film. You will engage with Death Eaters and Snatchers as well.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and part 2 are being developed for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, Windows PC, and mobile devices.
The screenshots look fantastic…can’t wait to see how the games turn out!
April has been gaming since her parents brought home the Atari 2600 and has never looked back. She spent many an afternoon playing the Nintendo at a friend's house until finally getting one of her own. Many great memories were formed while playing Super Mario Brothers, The Legend of Zelda, and Castlevania. Gaming took on a whole new level when she met Norm in 2000 and she played The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. In 2001, they purchased a PS2, and from there, it's history. In 2007, April helped form Girls Got Game! then moved on to write for Gaming Angels in 2008. In 2009, Norm and April launched Married With Video Games to share their gaming experiences - individually and as a couple who are truly married with video games.
