NEWS: Bust-A-Move Universe Coming to Nintendo 3DS

Square Enix announced today that they will be bringing favorite puzzle game franchise, Bust-A-Move Universe to the Nintendo 3DS.  The game will feature 3D gameplay and will be available this spring.  The main gameplay will stay the same – match three or more of the same color bubbles to make them disappear – but will have some enhanced features:

Features

  • ENDLESS BUBBLE-POPPING FUN: Clear round after round in Puzzle Mode with its explosive boss battles, or take on 100-second, 300-second or Nonstop Bubbles in Challenge Mode
  • SIMPLE GAMEPLAY MECHANICS: Shoot, connect and burst bubbles of the same color
  • FULL 3-D EFFECTS: Engaging gameplay in a vibrant, 3-D universe
  • FAMILIAR CAST: Iconic characters Bub and Bob are instantly recognized by gamers as the heroes of BUST-A-MOVE and BUBBLE BOBBLE®

Bust-A-Move Universe is rated E for Everyone and will be available in Spring of 2011 for $29.99 for the Nintendo 3DS, which will be released this March.
