Ubisoft has announced The Da Vinci Disappearance add-on for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood for the Xbox and PS3. The DLC will be available in early March for 800 MS Points on XBLA and $9.99 on the PlayStation Netwok.
The Da Vinci Disappearance will include both single and multiplayer content for AC: Brotherhood. Two new locations and two new gameplay features will be part of the DLC as you embark on a quest as Ezio to recover stolen paintings in order to find Leonardo, who has been kidnapped by the Hermeticists, before it is too late.
The multiplayer will include one new map, four new characters, and two new game modes – the biggest expansion to the game yet. The new multiplayer map, Alhambra, is set in Spain’s Albaicin of Granada and provides multileveled indoor and outdoor areas. The four new characters include the Dama Rossa, the Knight, the Marquis, and the Pariah. The two new gameplay modes are Escort and Assassinate. In Escort mode, two teams of four players will compete to protect their VIP target or assassinate the other team’s VIP target. Assassinate is a six to eight player deathwatch style game in one 10-minute round.
