Capcom has announced the newest installment of Mega Man Legends with Mega Man Legends 3: Prototype Version. The game will be a downloadable launch title when the Nintendo eShop opens.
Mega Man Legends 3 marks the first ever Capcom game to be co-developed by fans. Prototype Version gives the players a taste of this upcoming open-world action/adventure game and allows them to see the game in its early development stage. You will also be introduced to a new character, Barrett.
Try out the new close-combat gameplay style and see some of the fan contributions to the game. As you finish the core mission, you will get access to unfinished areas of the game as well as a debug menu for special moves and abilities. You can then head over to the Capcom-unity.com blog and voice your opinions as well as get insight to the development process as well as interact with members of the Dev Team. Who knows, your idea may get into the game as well as your name in the credits! Be creative and have fun!
The Nintendo eShop will be enabled through a system update for your Nintendo 3DS in late May, 2011.
