Square Enix announced today the launch of Final Fantasy XI Ultimate Collection Abyssea Edition will hit stores on May 16, 2011 globally. This packages contains all of the Final Fantasy XI content released to date for this MMORPG. This pack will be available as a download exclusive for PCs from digital distributers.
Ultimate Collection Abyssea Edition includes all four expansion packs for FFXI including the first expansion Rise of the Zilart to the most recent one, Wings of the Goddess. It will also contain all of the add-on content including A Crystalline Prophecy – Ode of Life Bestowing, A Moogle Kupo d’Etat – Evil in Small Doses, and A Shantotto Ascension – The Legend Torn, Her Empire Born. Add-on battle areas introduced in 2010 will also be included: Vision of Abyssea, Scars of Abyssea, and Heroes of Abyssea.
All those that purchase the Ultimate Collection Abyssea, whether they are new to the game or returning, will include the Destrier Beret, an in-game bonus item loaded with bonuses which will help new players get started as wells giving their characters an enviable piece of clothing.
The Final Fantasy XI Ultimate Collection Abyssea Edition will be available for $19.99 on May 16, 2011 through select digital distributors.
