EA has released a new video for the new SSX: Deadly Descents video game. The video is the first in a series of “Making of” videos to be released while the game is in development. This video is called SSX: Deadly Descents: Making SSX: Bringing Back the Franchise: Part 1: Game Overview and features Tom Batty, the game’s Producer and Creative Director.
Tom explains how they are reinventing the franchise and how they are staying true to the game that SSX fans have come to know and love. He also introduces us to some of the other guys that we will see in future videos like Art Director Ron Bignell, Art Director/Producer Dave Taylor, who is charge of worlds and level design; and Sean Smille, Producer in charge of Cinematics and Audio and Presentation.
April has been gaming since her parents brought home the Atari 2600 and has never looked back. She spent many an afternoon playing the Nintendo at a friend's house until finally getting one of her own. Many great memories were formed while playing Super Mario Brothers, The Legend of Zelda, and Castlevania. Gaming took on a whole new level when she met Norm in 2000 and she played The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. In 2001, they purchased a PS2, and from there, it's history.In 2007, April helped form Girls Got Game! then moved on to write for Gaming Angels in 2008. In 2009, Norm and April launched Married With Video Games to share their gaming experiences - individually and as a couple who are truly married with video games.
