NEWS: Ubisoft Reveals Details on Upcoming Smurfs Video Games

Ubisoft announced today the details on The Smurfs Dance Party coming to the Nintendo Wii in July.  The game is based on the upcoming Columbia pictures and Sony Pictures Animation’s 3D comedy, The Smurfs.  The Smurfs Dance Party was developed for the Wii and mixes chart-topping tracks and classic tunes with over 20 dances created by professional choreographers and led by the Smurfs themselves.

Kids and parents can dance along together with their favorite characters from the films, including Smurfette, Papa Smurfm Clumsy, Brainy, Gutsy, and Gargamel.  Supporting a wide variety of musical genres like Pop, R&B, Rock, and Punk, each track will contain unique choreography and can accommodate up to 4 players in Party Mode.

In addition to The Sumrfs Dance Party, a Smurfs-themed video game will be available for the Nintendo DS that will include fun interactive games like cake decoration, dressing up Smurfette, and performing in the Smurf Symphony.
