On the heels of the announcement of the PlayStation Vita, the new handheld by Sony, Ukraine game developer, Beatshapers and Tastyplay.com will partner to bring StarDrone to the PS Vita.
StarDrone has you controlling the trajectory of a spaceship that has been launched in a zero gravity environment. Featuring a top-down perspective, players can fly their ships across the galaxy and must collect pieces of Equilibirx to restore balance to the universe and stop the expansion of the evil G-Noids. Playing like a pinball-meets-Breakout-meets-shoot-em-up, players will use Vita’s multi-touch front screen display and multi-touch rear pad to fight enemies and interact with environments. The PS Vita version will share the same online leaderboards as the PS3 version (already available on PSN in US and Europe and supports Move).
Look for StarDrone on the PlayStation Vita later this year.
April has been gaming since her parents brought home the Atari 2600 and has never looked back. She spent many an afternoon playing the Nintendo at a friend's house until finally getting one of her own. Many great memories were formed while playing Super Mario Brothers, The Legend of Zelda, and Castlevania. Gaming took on a whole new level when she met Norm in 2000 and she played The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. In 2001, they purchased a PS2, and from there, it's history. In 2007, April helped form Girls Got Game! then moved on to write for Gaming Angels in 2008. In 2009, Norm and April launched Married With Video Games to share their gaming experiences - individually and as a couple who are truly married with video games.
