Review: Exotique 7
It’s that time of year again and Ballistic Publishing has compiled over 200 pages of some of the most beautiful CG character art from 223 artists across the globe to make up the annual art book, Exotique 7. This collection of gorgeous digital paintings features CG characters spanning several genres like sci-fi, fantasy, anime, and even some of the most photorealistic digital paintings I have ever seen.
Review: The Art of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Earlier this year, Ballistic Publishing kicked off their new series, Art of the Game, with The Art of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Ballistic partnered up with both Sony Computer Entertainment of America, Inc. and Naughty Dog to compile this 272-page book full of concept art, character studies, environmental art, as well as cinematics, animation, and effects.
Review: EXOTIQUE 6
It’s that time of year again for some of the world’s most beautiful CG character creations to be compiled in Ballistic Publishing’s digital art series, EXOTIQUE 6. Each year, Ballistic Publishing puts a call to digital artists around the world to submit their creations in the hope that it will get published in the EXOTIQUE series. As with previous years, EXOTIQUE 6 received a record number of entries with 3000 entries from 823 artists in 71 countries. Some of the art featured here is completely new and some of these artists are being published for their very first time.

That’s exactly what happened when Taylor LeBaron published his book, with the help of his grandparents, Jack and Mary Branson, Cutting Myself in Half: 150 Pounds Lost One Byte at a Time.
