NEWS: Exclusive PS3 Feature List, Box & Character Art Revealed for The House of the Dead Overkill – Extended Cut

SEGA revealed new screenshots, box art, and character art for The House of the Dead: OVERKILL – Extended Cut. Originally released for the Wii, The House of the Dead: OVERKILL – Extended Cut is a reinvention of the game remastered in HD and has a ton of new features added that are exclusive to the PS3 version – including Move support.

New features include:

PlayStation® Move and Sharp Shooter compatible
OVERKILL fully remastered – available in high definition, with stereoscopic 3D for the first time ever
Extended with 2 additional levels not featured in the original game
Exclusive crossbow weapon
New baby mutant type
New Hardcore Mode – mutants can only be killed with headshots
New Classic Mode – play through the entire game using only the AMS Magnum
Exclusive Missing Reel – an extended boss fight with “Mother” in “OVERKILL”, the game’s final level
Online leaderboards to track high scores and player statistics
Collectibles to grab throughout all levels to unlock bonus materials; comic pages, music tracks, 3D models and 2D artwork
New PlayStation Trophies to unlock
Improved boss fights in all levels
New and improved cutscenes using motion capture

More exclusive features are yet to come.

The House of the Dead: OVERKILL – Extended Cut is due out on October 25th exclusively for the PS3.

NEWS: Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012 Trailer and Screens

Ubisoft released a new trailer for Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012, the upcoming sequel to last year’s fitness game for Kinect on the Xbox 360. Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012 takes all the great exercises and mini-games from the first game and adds more mini-games like Jump Rope and African Dance. A new feature called Run the World simulates interval running through the streets of cities like New York and Paris, rendered in 3D.

Along with the new features, a lot of improvements have been made the existing modes and features an enhanced feedback system that tracks what you are doing wrong as well as offer tips and suggestions on how to adjust your moves for an optimal workout. Your Shape also have the ability to track floor movements that will allow players to incorporate push ups and sit ups.

Use the online fitness portal, Your Shape Center, to connect with the community where players can monitor their fitness goals, challenge their friends, and compare their progress against others around the world using the global leaderboards. You can share and motivate each other on Facebook as well.
