I know it’s a year later , but I just baught it and experiencing the same problem. I restarted my ps3 a number of times and even did a software upgrade, still no joy. I wonder if you could help.

There is a “soft” level cap of 50 (Game design stretches that far). The teoretical “hard” level cap is higher, but they really dont know how high it is.

Yah…the level cap is 50 but it was explained like this:

“The levelling is faster. Oblivion and Fallout 3, we think of them as 1-25 games. This is a 1-50. But what that means is we just sped it up. It’s not like it’s going to take you longer. There are so many perks and the power really comes from the perks, we wanted to get it going faster.”

You’ll level up faster – I almost got to Level 7 just in the 3 hour demo – then it will slow down. So even though it’s a level cap of 50, it’s a mathematical cap (or hard cap) of about 70.

I thought there was only a theoretical level cap of 100, not 50!?

I find it very hard to get to the second island… and haven’t yet after a year! I am missing the final ring only have 99 out of 100. Trying to figure out how to raise my
points have 5100, need 6000. Any suggestions?

3D platformers are definitely my favorite genre and I wish they would come back. I guess only time will tell.
