I'm not projecting…I'm merely stating that when I play online without you, it leaves you out. How you feel about that varies depending on the situation. I know that there have been times, one recently, where you got home from a long day and got upset that I didn't stop playing once you got home. You eventually asked me to stop after awhile, but you were already annoyed.

It is hard for me to lock into a good online experience. So many things have to fall into place: 1) I have to be in the mood to play the game to even go online, 2) I have to bump into players that can put up with my inexperience, 3) I have to do at least well enough to make me want to keep playing, 4) I have to have the time to do it. In those rare occasions, I have not been the best husband in the world. I find it hard to do both.

LOL…that's funny.  Is that you projecting that you feel alienated when I play online without you?  Wink  It doesn't alienate me…I usually encourage you to play online…as long as it's not Advance Wars or something!  LOL.

Hi all -

My name is Norm:

XBL: Nmajor3

PSN: norm

I am up for playing the following games online, but my skill level is on the low side, especially Gears of War 2 and Modern Warfare 2:

Halo 3

Gears of War 2

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Left for Dead 2

I don't game online often because it makes time go by way too fast and it kind of alienates my wife unless she is playing too. Also, I'm a little behind in skill level when it comes to games that are typically played online, and I tend to be fodder for more experienced players.

One of my favorite online moments was playing Left for Dead 2 with four of my good friends the night it came out. It was really frustrating and difficult, mainly because I was having a tough time…but in the end we were victorious, and it was a lot of fun hanging out with my friends without having to worry about driving home at 4am in the morning. Good times!

I'm looking for other relatively new online players looking to get better through co-op or competitive modes.
