Review: Final Fight Double Impact
First off, it’s important that the reader know that I have played Final Fight front to back in the arcade several times. I used to have a machine at work and after hours we were allowed to play the game with company quarters. Even more important, I have never heard of Magic Sword. These are the two games featured in Final Fight: Double Impact.

Review: Matt Hazard: Blood Bath and Beyond (XBLA/PSN)
Matt Hazard returns in Matt Hazard: Blood Bath and Beyond, the Xbox Live Arcade/PlayStation Network sequel to last year’s Matt Hazard: Eat Lead for the Xbox 360/PS3. Instead of being a third person shooter like its predecessor, Matt Hazard: BBB is a 2D side scrolling shooter/platformer with some 3D elements, not unlike the recent XBLA title, Shadowrun. While presented in a similar fashion, the games are very different. Matt Hazard: BBB is a chaotic experience, loaded with tongue-in-cheek humor and enough video game references to keep you looking for more. The game can be played as a single player experience or a multi player experience, locally or over Xbox Live.

Review: Diner Dash (PSN/XBLA)
Diner Dash is one of those crazy casual game phenomenons that will have all gamers – casual and hardcore alike – in a frenzy trying to complete each level’s goal by serving the customer’s every whim. The game has been around since about 2003 and has been on virtually every platform imaginable. Diner Dash made its console debut in November 2009 with releases on the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, and will find it’s way to the Wii via WiiWare by the end of this year.

Review: Creature Defense (PSP)
After spending a little time blowing the dust off of my PSP, updating it to the current version, and discovering the connectivity between the PSP and the PS3, I downloaded Hudson Entertainment’s newest downloadable PSP game, Creature Defense. As someone who does not play a lot of strategy games, I found myself getting more and more into the game as I tried out different approaches to the stages and was passing them. It was frustrating at first but when I really started to strategize, I noticed positive results.
